Riya & Riya's Muffin Cat Stories

Riya & Riya's Muffin Cat Stories

I never planned on having a cat. Muffin just showed up one rainy evening, soaking wet and screaming like the world owed her something. I gave her milk out of pity. Big mistake. She never left.

Muffin has this attitude like she owns my entire house (and honestly, she does now). Every morning, she sits on my chest at exactly 6:30 AM, staring into my soul until I wake up. If I ignore her, she gently taps my face… and if that doesn’t work, she upgrades to biting my nose.

She’s also weirdly obsessed with my laptop. The second I open it, she walks across the keyboard like she’s sending emails to someone important. Once she almost sent a half-written message to my boss. I’m pretty sure it would’ve read: “ssssssssddfffff.”

But despite all the chaos, she’s become my comfort. On days when I feel low, she just curls up next to me quietly, like she knows. No drama, no demands, just soft purring.

Except at night. At night, she becomes a full-time athlete—running across the house like she’s training for the Olympics.

I complain about her all the time, but honestly… I can’t imagine my life without Muffin anymore.
