Cherry looks tough. Orange fur, sharp eyes, the whole “don’t mess with me” vibe.

But this guy is scared of cucumbers.

I didn’t believe those internet videos until I tried it myself. I placed a cucumber behind him quietly, and when he turned around… he jumped like he saw a ghost.

I felt bad. But also, it was hilarious.

Cherry is also obsessed with chasing things that don’t exist. Sometimes he just runs across the room chasing invisible enemies. I don’t know what he sees, and honestly, I don’t want to know.

But he’s incredibly protective. If any stranger comes home, he positions himself between me and them like a security guard.

And when I’m working late, he sits near my chair, not bothering me, just being there.

He’s weird, slightly paranoid, and full of surprises… but he makes my house feel alive.
